Now the book has been upgraded in a revised and enlarged colour edition produced by J A Allen, who is an imprint of Robert Hale Ltd, in Britain.

The old „Photographic Guide To Conformation‰ text remains but there‚s a new focus on colour, graphics and horse anatomy.

The title was first published in 1991 and five reprints were produced. In 2002 the content was upgraded and the production burst into the 21st century. The new edition is bright and exciting and larger and more expansive than earlier.

The content deals with all breeds from pony classes, to hunters, to Arabs, to hackneys, to jumpers and thoroughbreds There are beautifully conformed horses along with those with serious blemishes. Faults , which detract from a horse‚s appearance, are highlighted along with factors, which can affect movement, balance and performance.

Sections included in the book involve feet, the head, teeth and a new section on colour and markings. All breeds and all types are analysed for their conformation.

This is now a super conformation reference, probably unparalled in the world.
